“This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.” Romans 3:22. It’s awesome to know, that when we accept Christ as our savior, God imparts His righteousness to us. That’s correct, absolute, Godly perfection is placed in our personal account, and from that point of acceptance on, that’s how God sees us. Righteousness, not to be confused with self-righteous, which is from our selves, belongs to us. There is no way we can attain this right standing on our own. No amount of “good deed doing”, or church attendance can purchase it. In fact God emphatically states that, “All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away.” Isaiah 64:6. This promise is so edifying to me, and I hope it is to you as well! Quit blowing in the wind, believe, accept, and start living in His righteousness today!
