Dead End

No one likes to travel a long distance, only to find a DEAD END sign.  What a waste of time, and fuel.  Perhaps you started out on the right road, you may have had Google driving instructions, or a GPS, but somewhere it all went wrong.  Life can be that way too. We begin our journeys full of enthusiasm, ready to see new sights and learn new things.  Along the way, we encounter a plethora of signage.  Arrows going every which way, roundabouts, detours and the like.  A “friend” tells you of a shortcut, and without investigating, you take it. “There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.” Proverbs 14:12.  Not all roads lead to eternity with God, and we must be aware, and prepared to seek out His way, and His alone.  Don’t fall victim to worldly directions, no matter how right they may seem, or how many others choose to travel on them.  Their end is destruction.  God has supplied us with his word, the only homing device that is 100% correct in getting us to where we want to go.  Use it, and trust it!  "You can enter God's Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.”  Matthew 7:13-14.
